pay with a photo
Pay With A Photo was a summer campaign for Google to show off the power of the Google Photos app's search feature. Each participant who took up the Pay With A Photo challenge was given twenty seconds to find the image of the word displayed by the machine. For this project I mechanically designed and developed the machine. The machine is designed in the style of a retro flip-clock. It has one flip board for the words and another for the timer. It is standalone so it needs power to run. The cards are made of a highly durable and slightly flexible aluminum-HDPE composite panel so that they would last the event and could be swapped out quickly when moving from location to location.
